this app is a great way to reach an audience and also test out your literary ideas! as an author, i’ve found no better way to instantly connect with people that follow my work. its easy to use and great way to discover new authors!

Great way to solve writers block!

This is a great app but I cant see how to write a second chapter. Please help?!?

Great platform to connect with other writers & poets. Great way to market yourself and expand your audience. This app is like Soundcloud, but for writers. It also has a very aesthetically appealing interface that is extremely user friendly. Highly recommended for any writer or poet.

1. I’m still experiencing a few bugs, when i’m writing i back out for a sec. Then it won’t let me scroll down so i have to back out a second time to be able to scroll also have this same problem when trying to edit a post i can scroll either without coming back in. 2. There’s a bug where sometimes it won’t load other people profiles it will say 0 posts 0 followers 0 follows and so on. I constantly have to back out and return constantly sort of like what i said back in the first problem. Suggestions If I May: 1. "Fonts" writing is a way of expressing your desire to show how you show off your own work. 2. "Themes" for penned so it’s easier on the eyes when writing at night, some people eyes are screen sensitive, and themes that work around the entire app would be nice. 3. "Alerts" i often don’t get any alerts even though they are all on, which is weird but it’s important to me to get alerted when people post other posts not only stories i would like the have the option to be alerted for everything people write. 4."Profiles" i feel strongly about expressing what kind of writer i am and i just don’t have enough space to type in a bio for myself, just wanted to know if it’s possible to have a tab or even remove the character max for profiles letting us being able to explain who we are so people can connect with us more. 5. Most important to me at least, "Personal Messaging" i would love to be able to talk to people without having to re-comment their posts, we will build up friendship and followers if we are able to answer or ask people any questions about their work. 6. "Comments" being able to comment a profile bio and also "Edit" comments on posts that we may have misspelled. "Overall it’s a great app, i believe with the proper fixes, and the suggestions i recommended, is something to think about but won’t only benefit the users but attract more people to use your app and review it for the beauty which it stands. I love this app i will continue to rate upon each update to inform you about any bugs."

Perfect place to express creative urges through the written word. Supportive community, wide variety of users, best writing app I have had the pleasure of using yet.

Best writing app EVER! Just dont like how sometimes it deletes two characters rather than one when I click the backspace button ONCE! Also almost every time I come to this app some of my work is gone! Please fix this!

You need to make it available for iPad.

I absolutely love Penned. Its the only app I use to publish my poetry! I hope it never changes. If you enjoy writing & publishing your stories, poems, quotes, fan fictions, etc - this is the app for you.

Great app for sharing stories and expressing your thoughts. Whether you are a writer yourself or enjoy reading other peoples work.

Ive been wanting to get back into writing for some time now. My friend recommended this app and now Im hooked. The app name is a little misleading though because you really dont need a pen.

Im at Penned for the app itself and for the staff and for the writers there. I rely on Penned every day for writing and presenting what I write and for reading and for writerly community. Sooo unlike ordinary community. The app itself is great. Best of all its not plugged up with commercial promotions. The Penned staff is enthused about Penned and its writers and is responsive to user feedback.

Looks very professional, but crashes every time I try to write or open up a topic.

Best writing app Ive used. Really good community. People are supportive and comment on each others work.

I can only view the app for maybe 30 seconds before it force closes. It looks nicely organized and such and I wish it would work for me .-.

I would rate this 5 stars, but whenever I get on the app and click on anything but the pencil icon, it takes me out. I try to look at my followers stories, but I can’t. I hope it can be fixed!
